What is going on, Mother Nature? You put us on quite the snowy ride this past November! And now, only rain has been falling on Montreal over the last few days, washing away almost all of that beautiful white snow that had accumulated all throughout the city.

According to multiple weather forecasts, December will be unsually warm for Montreal, especially for the second half or the month and around Christmas time. So far, what we know is that for the second week of December, temperatures will drop below 0˚C and even be as low as -9˚C during the day, but almost no snow in the forecast, some flurries here and there.
As of December 12th, temperatures will go (abnormally) back up, above freezing temperatures. In fact, temperatures will be 3˚C to 6˚C higher than the average for this time of year. This means it will be very difficult for us to be hit with another snowstorm until the 25th. You know what that means? The possibility of a "Green Christmas." What a turn of events, considering how snowy it was last month!
We all thought Christmas was going to be a white one this year, especially with what November brought us. Turns out we may have to dream of a White Christmas after all..
