François Legault has just confirmed the first death in Quebec caused by the coronavirus. The first person to die of COVID-19 was an elder from the Lanaudière Region. The patient, living in a retirement home had been in contact with people who travelled but it has not been confirmed yet if she had travelled herself.

The number of confirmed cases in Quebec as of today is now 94, up from the 74 cases confirmed as of just yesterday. As of today, 3627 Quebec residents are waiting for their test results. More than 5000 have already tested negative. 6 infected patients are currently under hospital care, 4 of them in intensive care.
Francois Legault insists that you self-isolate for a least 14 days if you come back from a trip. Even if you don’t think you may be infected, symptoms can occur on a later date.
