After a few weeks of intermittent snow followed by rain, we were beginning to lose hope of getting some snow for the holidays! But it looks like Mother Nature has other plans for us! We don't want to make any promises, but let's try to stay positive and hope that this fresh snow will stick around until Christmas day.

Get your shovels ready, it looks like we will be receiving between 5 to 10 cm of snow starting tomorrow afternoon and all the way into Thursday morning. According to the Weather Network, this snow will be followed by freezing temperatures for Thursday (-13°C that will feel like -22°C, yikes!). No additional precipitations are in the forecast for until after Christmas, so tomorrow's snowfall and the temperature for the following days will determine if we will in fact have a white Christmas or not.
It is still a little bit early to say, but if the forecasts are accurate we could be getting a lot more snow between Christmas and the New Year!
Are you hoping for a White Christmas?
